I take photographs purely for pleasure. Having a love of the great outdoors, I am naturally drawn towards landscape photography. I enjoy spending time in great locations, and I love experiencing the excitement of the elements and the raw nature found there. I equally enjoy the process of trying to convey these experiences in an image that might excite you, the viewer, in a similar way.
For me it is the thrill of the chase of looking for and finding a good location, in the right lighting conditions. The composition of the image in the viewfinder and the elation of that rare moment when you know you have captured something good.
I am based in west London and all my images are taken in the UK.
Having converted to digital, I shoot in RAW format and process the images in-computer afterwards. I always try to get the image correct in-camera as I don’t like spending hours in front of the computer trying to recover a badly taken image.
